In 2024, the KRGF anticipates 500 riders and over 1250 people involved as participants, volunteers, guests, and officials.
For the 2023 Gran Fondo,354 riders participated. Cranbrook Tourism generated, based on interviews, surveys and feedback, an Economic Impact Assessment. Here are a few highlights.

  • $371,390 spent by visitors for hotels, restaurants, food, shopping, transportation, entertainment...

  • $435,452 of initial expenditures

  • $223,000 of visitor spending

  • $617,603 overall economic activity in the province

  • 1,071 out-of-town visitors in Cranbrook

  • $147,129 of wages and salaries supported locally

  • With an anticipated 40% increase in riders in 2024, scale up these numbers to $872,000 overall economic activity in the province.
