King & Queen of the Mountain

King & Queen of the Mountain

The Kootenay Rockies Gran Fondo will feature the King and Queen of the Mountain for  Medio and Gran Fondo competitors. Riders in both categories will be able to challenge for the fastest time up the 2km Fort Steele hill. Top male and female riders in two separate age categories: Open (49 & Under) and Masters (50+) will compete for a chance to win a $50.00 gift certificate to Kimberley’s Pedal and Tap restaurant.

The King and Queen of the Mountain starts at approximately 82km for the Medio and 132km for the Gran Fondo ride. The idea behind the KRGF King & Queen of the Mountain is to create excitement amongst seasoned and experienced cyclists as well as our goal of making this a fun ride.
